The Staff Accountant will report to the Senior Accountant and be responsible for performing a combination of calculating, posting, verifying and reconciling duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. This position requires additional technical/analytical knowledge of internal systems and functions related to maintaining daily operations of critical processes for Pack4U, Inc., supporting various Pack4U entities in Canada.
Requirements and Skills:
- 3 to 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-company setting
- A/R, A/P, G/L and P/R experience
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional integrity, including ability to work with confidential information
- Problem-solving skills
- Able to work as a team
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related business discipline
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Experience with QuickBooks and experience with NetSuite or other ERP system a plus
- 100% remote
- Preferably residing in Canada within the western time zones.
The successful candidate will be able to apply accounting principles and handle work that is analytical, evaluative, and advisory in nature and that requires an understanding of both accounting theory and practice. Candidates have the proven ability to pay attention to detail and enter a high volume of data. They are generally in daily communication with employers and vendors.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
