We are a downtown law firm seeking an enthusiastic individual who can work well with others as our front desk receptionist and assist with administrative tasks. The salary offer may be adjusted for experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
Intake of phone calls on a multi-line switchboard.
Greeting clients and providing information to them in a friendly and courteous manner;
Scheduling appointments;
Opening, preparation and closing of all new files;
Draft, review and prepare correspondence, reporting letters and legal documents as necessary;
Communicate with banks, clients and other third-party professionals;
Completing general office administration including maintaining sufficient office supplies;
Distributing daily mail and incoming couriers;
Assistance with time entry, billing, etc. where required; and
Other duties as required.
Requirements
Strong multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize;
Efficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Knowledge of general and trust accounts is a definite asset;
Willingness to learn;
This position is available immediately and is a full-time position from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.;
