Paladin Technologies Looking for Project Coordinator at Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Full Time

The Project Coordinator will manage, coordinate, and execute the project plan. Participate in the delivery of all activities and manage resources for efficiency and project profitability. The primary objective of this role is to support the Project Manager in delivering high-quality project results as efficiently as possible. May be requested to lead and manage smaller projects at the discretion of the Manager.

Ideal candidates bring prior experience as a Project Coordinator and will represent Paladin in a professional manner in line with our company values.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Visit client sites to determine conditions and requirements for system design and installation
• Work with the Project Management team to develop and manage schedules, resources plan, procurement, project commissioning, and risk mitigation strategies, while controlling costs and maximizing productivity through the implementation of best practices and standard processes
• Effectively manage and maintain all written and verbal project communications
• Maintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns
• Ensure the highest quality delivery for our clients
• Daily coordination with project stakeholders including but not limited to local and provincial governments, traffic control, and subcontractors
• Customizing Health & Safety plan to adhere to project standards
• Coordination of purchase orders, materials/equipment orders, and following up on delivery timelines
• Be the first point of contact for project billing issues in partnership with the internal financedepartment
• Attending, running, and participating in weekly project meetings
• Perform other tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous project coordination/management experience is required
• Experience in the construction industry coming from a general orIndustrial contractoris preferred
• Previous experiencecollecting and managing technical documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project software
• Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines
• Post-secondary education from an engineering technology program (controls and instrumentation, electronics, electrical, etc.) would be considered an asset
• Security Secret Clearance is required
• Bilingual (French and English) is considered a MUST
