Our Warehouse Manager will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance for all goods and materials in our Vancouver location, along with staging materials for project installation, delivery to customer sites, and pick up by technicians. They will also be responsible for creating a clean and safe warehouse environment that is organized efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and strong computer literacy, along with a positive team attitude and a great work ethic.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive shipments, verify goods, completely accurate and detailed paperwork, and enter materials into inventory software
Maintain accurate inventory count and provide information to internal stakeholders
Advise appropriate person(s) when stock has been received
Coordinate testing of returned materials with corresponding manufacturer and local Service Technician
Liaise with the Accounting team on a regular basis to ensure packing slips and invoices are received, and that RMAs are accurately processed and completed efficiently
Ship stock to other branch offices and customer sites as required
Work with the Project Management and Purchasing teams to ensure all project orders are complete and stage appropriately
Monitor consumption of consumable items and maintain stock items
Maintain current knowledge about products, catalog information, part numbers, and required operating stocks
Occasionally assist the service and project management team(s) with administrative work, reconciling project materials, vehicle inventory and maintenance, small quotations, etc
Perform other tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in a Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Management, or Logistics role, preferably in the security or technology industry
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and inventory tracking software
Experience with waybill preparation, bills of lading, and international shipments
First-rate organizational, time management, and prioritization skills for working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Physical ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting, and knowledge of safe lifting methods
Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract
High level of integrity and accountability, along with the ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
Post-secondary education would be considered an asset; High School Diploma or equivalent at a minimum
Salary Range: $55k – $68k DOE
