Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior Accountant located in Richmond, BC with flexibility for some remote work. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting in daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. They will also assist in preparing financial statements and reports, and perform ad hoc analysis and other assignments.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
