We are looking for a driven and experienced Construction Foreman willing to advance their skills and learn with ambition to advance within the company.

The Construction Foreman will train directly with the Construction Manager and Sr. Construction Foreman and learn how Paradise has been a local industry leader for over 50 years. They will be responsible for a variety of job tasks necessary to complete pool construction projects from start to finish and needs to be knowledgeable and skilled in most aspects in construction including working with concrete and mixers, stake out build sites and elevations, use of power tools, and equipment handling. The following is a list but not limited to what is expected for the following position.

· Ability to step in and take over a pool construction project / task at any stage

· Operate equipment required for the job and conduct daily safety inspections for tools and equipment prior to use

· Ability to follow directions and hold accountability for the quality of the job

· Troubleshoot issues that arise on the job and modify job in collaboration with Construction Manager

· Conduct weekly morning toolbox talk meeting on site with crew when needed

· Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback

· Able to accurately take and understand measurements using tape measure

· Ability to understand and read elevations and drainage on projects

· Hardscaping abilities including leveling concrete mixes

· Basic understanding of blueprints, drawings, and specifications

· Excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy of projects

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2-3 years of leading a small team (2-6 people)

· Ability to lead a team, delegate, and motivate your crew

· Knowledgeable on all aspects of running a small construction site

· Knowledgeable and capable to run and operate construction equipment

· Strong attention to detail and quality completion

· Good communication skills

· Organized and detail oriented

· Reliable

· Neat appearance

· Ability to lift 80 lbs or more and perform physical duties

· Ability to work in all types of weather

· Valid Class 5 Drivers License & Clean driving record (no exceptions)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Every Weekend
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • construction: 1 year (preferred)
  • Construction Superintendents: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class 5 Licence (required)
