Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Assembly Manager at Parmerit Inc. The Assembly Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assembly department, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of projects. They will manage a team of assembly technicians and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution. The role will involve planning and scheduling assembly activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with experience in a supervisory role
• Proven experience in assembly operations and project management
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in special purpose capital equipment, is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is an asset
