Through continual upgrades, Patriot Forge has been able to enhance our manufacturing capabilities to better serve the needs of our ever evolving customer base.
We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and participate in recruiting activities. ex. preparing internal/external job ads, screening applicants, arranging and conducting interviews, reference checks, etc.
- Track recruitment methods and successes
- Assist employees/supervisors with respect to all HR related information requests/concerns
- Work with Plant Managers/Supervisors to develop/revise position descriptions as required
- Administer disability management program – WSIB/Short-term. Liaise with WSIB, benefit carrier, employee and supervisors as required
- Assist with health and safety program. Improvements and legislative changes as well as provide administrative health and safety support
- Maintain employee training records
- Administer new employee orientation program
Experience/Skills/Education:
- Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a Human Resources/Administrative discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- CHRP designation or working towards is an asset
- 3-5 years experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated strong organizational, planning, coordination and priority setting skills
- Possess a high degree of integrity and decision making skills
- Proficient in MS Office
