Material Handler
Paul Davis Simcoe County is looking to add a valuable member to our growing team.

We are looking for a Material Handler to help order, pickup and deliver construction material to our repair projects.

Job Description

• The Material Handler will assist the Repair Project Managers with rebuild files.
• You would be responsible for following the budgets on work orders and purchasing material and delivering to site.
• You would be helping to coordinate jobs and ensuring materials are on site and ready for rebuild.
• You will be responsible for inventory in the shop that pertains to the rebuild material.
• You will assist in jobs when needed and at times may be required to help with some painting baseboard or assisting the carpenter when needed.
• You will also be asked to find the best prices on building materials to stock in our shop.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of building material and construction
• Must have a G driver’s license
• Must be reliable, willing and capable
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be self-organized and a great communicator
• Must be a team player
• A bonus – if you have worked in a construction environment before
• A bonus – you can drive a truck with a trailer
