Candidates must have completed or be working towards completing (entering your 3rd or 4th year) of a post-secondary degree in a related discipline (child or animal-related) and have experience working with children to be considered for this position. This is a summer position from May 2 to August 31, 2022. All candidates must have a driver’s license and a car that they can use for work every day. Are you passionate about teaching young children and helping them to explore the world of animals? We are looking for creative, outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic team players to join our team.
Pawsitively Pets is a one-of-a-kind hands-on animal program that provides children with the opportunity to interact hands-on with a variety of different animals in an engaging, educational environment. Our staff are animal experts and share their love and knowledge through our unique programs. Our organization is growing and is offering meaningful opportunities for individuals with strong presentation and animal skills, and a background working with children. We welcome resumes from enthusiastic, motivated team players who wish to work for a cause they believe in — a cause that is committed to educating children about animals.
This is a great position for an energetic and dynamic individual who loves the world of animals and wants to share that experience with children in a hands-on interactive format. We are looking for team members who like to think outside the box and be creative, helping to develop and deliver programs for children ranging in age from 4 years to 14 years old.
This position is a summer position and would suit a university or college student that is at least 50% through their program. The position will offer 30-44 hours weekly depending on our scheduled bookings. All applicants must be available to work weekends, have a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle (you will drive the animals to programs and events.)
We are keen to hire team members with strong presentation skills that may wish to return to the position next summer or work part-time throughout the school year.
