About Our Organization:
ATAP, the Association of Tax & Accounting Professionals, is a collaborative and supportive Association of Tax and Accounting Professionals operating independently across Canada. We provide independent Tax, Accounting and other related financial professionals with the tools and support they need to grow successful practices. Our members are experienced and dedicated tax and accounting professionals, committed to continued professional development, and to maintaining the highest standards of services for all clients financial and business needs. The ATAP goal is simple – to provide support to our members by promoting professionalism, continuing education and greater recognition.
Job Overview:
The Executive Director is the senior staff member of the ATAP association and reports to the Board of the Directors. The Executive Director is accountable for leading the operational team in the planning, delivery and evaluation of ATAP’s programs and services in support of the vision, mission and business plan. The Executive Director will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and leaders in order to provide leadership and oversight to all ATAP programs and services. The Executive Director establishes and maintains positive relationships with key local, provincial and national representatives and industry stakeholders including government departments and officials.
