Part-Time Educational Assistant
at Grimshaw Public School
Grimshaw Public School is an exciting and dynamic school located in the town of Grimshaw, 20 kms west of Peace River. The school serves students from grades K-12. A strong academic program and a full range of athletic programs, supported by the addition of a new community recreation multiplex center, are offered to the Grimshaw Public School students.
One Part-Time (0.90 F.T.E.) Educational Assistant is required commencing immediately. The successful candidate will be working with students of various ages and varying needs.
Q Ualifications
Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent
Experience and/or training working with young children
Skills
Ability to work with children with varied age, skill level, needs and abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work independently
Commitment and accountability
Requirements
Provide an acceptance current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
Provide a current Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (applicants within Alberta)

Rate Of Pay
$ 20.16 to $ 25.29 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
