WHY WE NEED YOU? GLAD YOU ASKED…*
The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for the financial reporting and analysis of various Pelmorex divisions.
RESPONISIBILITIES
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports
- Monthly reconciliation of assets and liabilities including bank reconciliations, prepaid, accruals and various journal entries Monthly analysis of revenue and expense account variances to budget and forecast, including narratives
- Collaborate with Account Receivable and Account Payable departments to ensure accuracy of the Financial Statements
- A key business partner meeting with various department managers on a regular basis to assist them with budget management Preparation of the budgets/forecasts of various divisions
- Preparation of specific annual audit working papers and liaise with auditors
- Preparation of monthly Sales Commission payments including analysis of revenue files and reconciliation with Power BI reporting
- Liaise with Sales Management team to ensure the accuracy of the commission calculations by validating underlying data
- Partner with the Sales senior leadership team and the Director, Total Rewards to develop the multi-product commission plan.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of financial analysis, reporting and forecasting experience is required
- A certified professional accounting designation (CPA) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel abilities
- Proficiency in GSuite
- NetSuite experience an asset
- Understanding of the full revenue cycle.
- Understanding the complexities on how sales commissions are paid.
- Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
