Position Description Pibroch Colony School (Gr. K-9, located near Westlock, AB (approximately 120 km Northwest of Edmonton) requires an Probationary Part-time (.35 FTE) Elementary & Junior High Generalist Teacher to teach children from Grades K – 9. The successful candidate must be willing to work in a collaborative school team environment. Duties are to commence August 26, 2024 and will end June 27, 2025.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate
Proficiency in the use of educational technology
Successful classroom teaching experience
Ability to teach and address a wide range of student needs
Ability to work as part of a team
Understanding and application of Assessment, Universal Design for Learning and Differentiated Instruction
Have a demonstrated success teaching in a multi-graded, multi-leveled classroom
Have an appreciation of Hutterite culture
Experience working with English as Second Language learners would be an asset.
