Position Summary
The Pembina Institute is seeking a highly motivated Senior Communications Lead to join the Communities and Decarbonization Group, which encompasses three programs: Buildings, Equitable Transition and Transportation. You are a strong writer and editor, and consistently bring strategic thinking to your work. You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills, positive energy, high degree of organization and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
You will provide on-demand and strategic communications support to advance the Pembina Institute’s work on priorities nationally and regionally, as well as organizational communications support as needed.
In this role you will contribute to the ongoing development, delivery and evaluation of the Pembina Institute’s approach to communications.

Compensation And Benefits
Salary is commensurate with experience. The hiring salary range for the position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually, with a position salary maximum of $90,000, increasing with acquired skills and experience in the role.
The Pembina Institute operates on a 37.5-hour work week and provides flex hours and a hybrid work environment where our staff are invited to strike the optimal mix of working in the office and from home. We offer a comprehensive benefits plan, four weeks of vacation and an RRSP matching plan from day one.
