Overview
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is recruiting for a Specialist to join the team. This position reports to the Manager, Supply Chain Process, Policy & Projects in the Accounting and Supply Chain Unit (ASU). This role position will support the rollout of a Governance Framework across all Supply Chain processes and projects within the department, driving change and implementing leading practice while adopting digital solutions.
Summary of Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Support the rollout of Future Process for the 6 Supply Chain processes in collaboration with the Business Process Leads striving to implement leading practices;
Identify gaps in process, technology and people and map improvement opportunities and collaborate with SC leaders to design and implement improvement opportunities;
Review and support the execution of projects within SC that align with future process & technology rollout;
Understand the interdependencies of various initiatives – conflicting, duplications, dependencies, complementing, or independent – acting as a liaison and support to SC leaders;
Contribute as a subject matter expert on the roll out of new Supply Chain process, technology and training rollout;
Support the development of content for Supply Chain documentation;
Drive compliance / adherence to business processes, policies, standards, and other documentation across supply chain by reviewing technology proposed changes and audit findings;
Be the liaison between business process owners and leads on Audit and Internal Control findings, supporting the preparation of documents and/ or corrective action plans;
Support the development of Supply Chain artifacts (status update, project plan, RAID, huddles, others) and effective communication tools;
Support the design of scope of work for contractors and consultants to align on project expectations and support the delivery assisting with documentation and/ or other requirements in collaboration with business process owners and leads;
Identify opportunities to roll out continuous improvement opportunities (lean principles) across all supply chain processes and propose digital automation for runner process steps;
Support the integration and synchronization of existing and upcoming supply chain projects (e.g., transformations, integrations, divestitures, acquisitions, etc.);
Work closely with change contributors/ teams as continuous improvement projects are rolling out changes and providing training across supply chain and/ or other stakeholders; and
Participate in a diverse and Inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management or related field;
5+ years experience with Supply Chain processes and a digital procurement platform;
Critical thinking, detail-oriented, problem-solving and pragmatic approach;
Proficiency with the SAP/ Ariba suite and consulting experience would be considered an asset;
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, demanding and deadline-driven environment;
Effective and efficient stakeholder management, with proven influencing skills within large organizations; and
Problem-solving skills, highly organized, and a proven track record of effectively managing and reporting on multiple projects and programs.
