Currently PepsiCo Beverages Canada, Moncton Facility is recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to help support our Production team.
Key Role Responsibilities Include:
The execution of planned maintenance, repairs, minor installations and replacements including:
Equipment inspections and lubrication
Demand maintenance of line and central service equipment
Preventative maintenance of line and central service equipment
To maintain equipment in a satisfactory condition for safe operation
To maintain equipment at its optimum operating efficiency
To participate in the on-going improvement of the predictive and preventative maintenance program
Recommend any changes and/or improvements to plant equipment/facilities/procedures
Upgrade areas with new equipment/technology; work with outside contractors on assigned line
Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
To operate equipment as required
Other tasks as directed by Maintenance lead hands and/or Supervisors
Keep work area orderly and clean
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications Required:
Must hold a valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic / Millwright license (433A) with a certificate of Qualification or a valid Industrial Mechanic / Millwright Certificate of Apprenticeship
Will be subject to standardized testing
Other Licences considered an asset; specifically Class B refrigeration operator, 4th Class Operating Engineer and Compressor Operator
Ability to troubleshoot high speed packaging equipment required
Bottle and can line mechanical maintenance experience in the food/packaged goods industry preferred
Must be skilled in use of machine shop equipment (lathe, mill, grinder, etc.)
Must be able to lift/carry 50-85 lbs
Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs
Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching and grasping
Must be able to work on computers and iPads
Must be able to work night shifts and overtime as required
