As a Construction Superintendent your duties and responsibilities are:
- Ensuring that all individuals on the construction site are working in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements
- Overseeing the execution of field work ensuring it is completed efficiently and effectively while meeting all contractual requirements
- Monitoring the schedule and productivity of work and working constructively with contracts and internal teams to drive improvements
- Working collaboratively with the contractors and operations personnel to resolve issues and barriers
- Working collaboratively with the contractor on all aspects of planning to enable efficient work to progress in the field
- Coordinating field activities between contractors and the client’s operations team
This is a rotational schedule of 2 weeks in 2 weeks out, 11 hour days.

Requirements
- 10 years experience in a similar role
- Previous experience as a construction manager is considered an asset
- Recognized safety certification such as a NCSO is considered a strong asset
- Experience at a nuclear facility is preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- Must have supervisor training
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Technologist Certification
- Must be able to be a subcontractor
- Must carry liability insurance
