Description
The Intermediate Risk Analyst oversees and contributes to the whole process of Risk Management and preparation/evaluation of risk analysis and cost estimates.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Develop the Risk Management Plan for the Program.
* Identifies Risk Management deliverables and complies with delivery dates.
* Facilitates Risk Register sessions to develop full Risk Registers during all phases of the project.
* Conducts Cost & Schedule risk analysis sessions or QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment) to collect the required information for the risk analysis.
* Performs schedule risk analysis as required, using Acumen Risk tool.
* Performs cost risk analysis on the Contingency Breakdown Report (Excel file), as required.
* Participates in Local/Corporate Assurance process for gate approvals.
* Prepares the Contingency Breakdown Report (CBR) with the results of the risk analysis.
* Prepares the Basis of Risk Analysis document when applicable.
* Sets contingency according to our Capital Projects procedure.
* File all Risk information in the corresponding folders in the iCloud.
* Responsible for updating the Capital Projects Risk Management Procedure.
Qualifications
Basic/Required:
* Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, related business or technical discipline or foreign equivalent.
* 5-10 years of Risk Management/Cost estimating experience or related
* Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel 10% of the time on a yearly basis.
Preferred:
* 5-10 years of Risk Management/Cost estimating experience
* Basic proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel (This is a must), Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word
* Basic knowledge of EPC/M practices and related impacts on cost
* Ability to assertively discuss estimate quality with management
* Collaborative interpersonal communication style
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Basic knowledge of risk analysis and risk management methods
* Cost estimating experience is a plus
* Delivers positive results through realistic planning to accomplish goals.
* Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical.
* Listens actively and invites new ideas for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive positive performance and achieve results.
