JOB SUMMARY
We are a local community Pharmasave Health Centre in North Vancouver on Dollarton Hwy near the second narrows bridge. We are looking for a passionate and customer service oriented full-time or part-time pharmacist to help grow our new pharmacy.
We are a group of Pharmacist that own several Pharmasave on the North Shore. As Pharmacist ourselves, being the best support team means providing guidance and opportunities for our pharmacists to grow into other roles such as management or ownership while providing the freedom to do what pharmacist do best; Providing the best clinical care and customer experience.
The full time or part time staff pharmacist is responsible for the duties of a pharmacist outlined below:
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Checking prescriptions for proper dosage
· Evaluate appropriateness of prescription orders with consideration for patient safety and legal requirements
· Provide information and advice regarding administration, usage, drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage
· Ensure all prescriptions are filled and dispensed accurately, efficiently and safely
· Receive verbal Rx orders and accurately transcribe in adherence with the College of Pharmacists of BC
· Ensuring proper storage and disposal of pharmaceutical products
· Checking compliance packaging
· Advising customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication
· Maintain customer medication profiles and records, including but not limited to pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, etc.
· Operate pharmacy computer, register equipment and other assigned tools
· Conduct Medication Reviews
· Vaccine administration as necessary
· Expanded scope of practice (adaptations, regulations, etc.)
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
· Knowledge of Kroll
· Basic knowledge of Word and Excel

· Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· High level of professionalism, energy and enthusiasm
· Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
· Build relationships with patients and prescribers
· Possesses well-developed listening and human relations skills
· Must be a proactive team player
· Must be able to time manage priorities and be very organized
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Licensed Pharmacist in British Columbia
· Injection Certification and First Aid/CPR required
