Phreesia Payment Services Looking for UX Lead at Remote Full Time

Job Description:

As a User Experience Lead at Phreesia, you will play a strategic role in Phreesia’s commitment to creating solutions which meet our users’ needs. You will be a key leader within our UX team, acting as a player-coach to partner with a cross-functional team to craft user-focused solutions across our Payments, Eligibility & Benefits space while also supporting a growing team of designers through collaboration and mentorship.

The right candidate will have an opportunity to advance their design leadership skills while contributing to the ongoing success of Phreesia’s products. In this role you will harness a user-centered approach to collaborate with business partners across Phreesia to ensure your designs are informed by research, technically feasible and align with product & company goals. Your pragmatic designs will impact our product strategy while addressing the needs of our users – both healthcare workers and patients.

You will join a core team of designers that is establishing a design culture within Phreesia. In addition to product work, we enjoy ongoing opportunities to define our design principles, understanding and promoting accessibility and inclusivity within our solutions, building a design system, and maturing our UX process. You will play a key role in each of these exciting activities. Our team of designers will rely on you to bring a sense of collaboration, curiosity, and excitement to this fully remote role. You will contribute to our team’s continual learning by sharing your experiences, passions, and beliefs.

What You’ll Do

• Set the experience vision for your product domain and effectively communicate your design decisions through storytelling and presentations.

• Align with product management and client success teammates to ensure the voice of our clients is heard in every decision we make.

• Partner with product and engineering leaders to maintain and improve that experience, leading collaborative efforts to frame key client challenges and design the right solutions.

• Mentor and inspire fellow designers at different points in their design careers.

• Embrace continuous discovery through UX best practices and methodologies (e.g. discovery interviews, user journeys, task flows, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing).

• Help inform others of the strategic role of design through your active participation in design critiques, meetings, presentations, and company-wide design efforts.

• Work side-by-side with the Associate Director of UX to continue to establish a strong User Experience team at Phreesia.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in product design, including a range of design and user research projects.

• Expertise in facilitating conversations to move projects forward with product & engineering partners and stakeholders across Phreesia.

• An ability to take ownership of and articulate your decisions, while also embracing change when data suggests a new direction.

• Experience running remote generative and evaluative research studies.

• Participation in the execution of activities that advance design maturity within the organization (e.g. design system, user analytics, stakeholder presentations).

• An excitement to advance the impact of design within a fast-paced product organization.
