Reporting to the Manager or designate, the Replenishment Aide / Stores Attendant utilizes computerized systems and is responsible for shipping and receiving goods, filling orders and the transportation of supplies and materials for a multi-site operation, and maintaining documentation and records.
What you’ll do
Arrange transport and delivery of stock and materials to customers, sites and suppliers in accordance with established procedures.
Ensure all shipments, both incoming and outgoing, such as deliveries to customers and sites, or returning damaged, spoiled or erroneous goods to suppliers, are handled consistent with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS) and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations. Maintains required documentation.
Issue goods from customer requisitions received by assembling, consolidating and staging materials, goods, supplies and equipment in loading or temporary storage areas in preparation for transport and shipment to customers and sites.
Ensure priority and special shipments are processed and delivered according to requirements.
Receive, organize and prioritize requisitions and resulting workflow from several sites and departments, completing paperwork and keying data for recording inventory orders, stores transactions and pick lists, including data entry into a computerized system.
Receive, unpack and check incoming materials from suppliers, ensuring that the supplies/goods are delivered as per specifications. Completing all related paper work such as signing delivery slips, daily shipping logs, and routing of supplies/goods
Maintain shipping records and statistics and prepares periodic reports, as required
Complete routine forms and maintains records and files.
Clean and rotate stock. Ensures stores inventory areas are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
What you bring
Grade 12 plus one (1) year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Valid Class 5 license.
You will also have the ability to:
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Deal with others effectively
Keyboard at 30 w.p.m.
Organize work
Operate related equipment.
Awareness of and commitment to learning and understanding the Truth & Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action (2015), In Plain Sight Report (2020), BC’s Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019), and other related reports.

Job Type: Casual (Casual is defined as on call with no guaranteed hours. Shifts can be called out via short call (1-5 hours of notice) or pre-booked).
Wage: $24.27 / hour + 13% in lieu
