Plains’ Information Services department, in partnership with business stakeholders, is embarking upon a multi-year effort to address legacy system risk, modernize systems, and rationalize our technology landscape
This effort has Executive visibility and aims to deliver material value creation in the form of significant risk mitigation, improved user experience, and modernization that is captured within our Enterprise Technology Plan (ETP)
The Specialist, Business Relationship Management (BRM) plays a key role in delivering against this multi-year Enterprise Technology Plan (ETP) via ongoing two-way senior business leadership engagement on behalf of the Information Systems (IS) Department.
Plains offers a hybrid work environment in which working from home is combined with working in the Calgary office throughout each week.

Responsibilities:
The Specialist, Business Relationship Management (BRM) serves as a relationship link between business stakeholders and Information Services (IS) on a department level
Meets on a recurring basis with Directors, VPs, and SVPs to communicate key messages and triage feedback to IS
Builds successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the evolution of our IS Operating Model
Acts as a strategic interface with the business and IS for the purpose of facilitating / understanding functional business unit pain points, needs, and feedback to inform IS improvement
Partners with IS Continuous Improvement and Corporate Communications teams to inform stakeholders of IS wins, updates, and required changes to process
Enables two-way communication with IS leaders to inform them of business unit updates and other changes that IS should be aware of
Qualifications:
10+ years of Consultancy, Sales, or Account Representative experience demonstrating the ability to thrive in a business leadership facing role
Demonstrated leadership skills in the areas of strategic planning and decision making, navigating ambiguity, and building trusting relationships. High Emotional Intelligence
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks.
