We are excited about growing again and looking for an energetic results-driven Order Desk Operator to join our Customer Service Team in our London, Ontario location.
In this role, the Order Desk Operator will answer customer queries and resolve issues via appropriate channels, maintain knowledge of our products and services, obtain customer feedback, and provide solutions.

Job Duties
- Assist customers with standard account-related requests
- Create sales orders, pick tickets, invoices and transfers
- Review invoices or accuracy and completion
- Answer phones, review emails
- Organize and maintain promotional/training material shelves
- Provide clear and open communication between sales, management and operations
- Other duties as assigned
- Participate in year-end inventory counts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- A certificate or diploma in a related field preferred
- three years previous customer service experience, order desk, parts counter or call center experience a must
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Able to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Computer literate, including practical working skills in MS Word, Excel and e-mail
- Proven data entry and typing skills
- Professional appearance and manners
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Automotive industry experience an asset
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset
