In this role, the Order Desk Operator will answer customer queries and resolve issues via appropriate channels, maintain knowledge of our products and services, obtain customer feedback, and provide solutions.
Job Duties:
Assist customers with standard account-related requests
Create sales orders, pick tickets, invoices and transfers
Review invoices or accuracy and completion
Answer phones and review emails
Organize and maintain promotional/training material shelves
Provide clear and open communication between sales, management and operations
Other duties as assigned
Participate in year-end inventory counts.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Three years of previous customer service experience, order desk, parts counter or call center experience is a must
A certificate or diploma in a related field preferred
Automotive industry experience an asset
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Strong attention to detail
Computer literate, including practical working skills in MS Word, Excel and e-mail
