Pods Health Inc. Looking for Bookkeeper at West Vancouver, BC Full Time

We are currently looking for a reliable Bookkeeper (full-cycle accounting) who will report directly to our Finance Officer.

The Bookkeeper is responsible for recording financial transactions in Quickbooks and maintaining data in our system. The Bookkeeper will maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, posting transactions, balancing accounts, and reconciling entries.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to details and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous QuickBooks Online experience would be considered an asset.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions for all credit cards and bank accounts

• Balance intercompany accounts by reconciling entries

• Prepare billable costs to invoice to clients

• Manage vendor bills by verifying, allocating, and reconciling with projects and with established contracts

• Record payments of accounts payables and accounts receivables

• Maintain filing and record systems for all financial transactions

• Accurately review and enter data information into the appropriate databases in a timely manner

• Input, update, and maintain existing data as necessary

• Retrieve data and reports to support team members

• Monitor and track credit card transactions and collect receipts

• Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries

• Prepare and post credit card transactions and complete reconciliation

• Assist with invoicing, reconcile unbilled billable reports and QuickBooks reports

• Assist with other accounting projects and administrative activities

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail is essential

• Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, work independently, and learn quickly

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• 2 to 3 years experience of full cycle bookkeeping

• Experience with reconciliations, year end, payroll, GST, eTax, and WCB remittances

• Proficiency in QuickBooks (payroll), and Microsoft Office

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-40 per week

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
