Job Description
This is a Hybrid role, however we are open to remote candidates across Canada
Points is looking for a Team Lead to join our Software Engineering team for a full-time permanent position in our downtown Toronto office. We are a cross-functional, Agile team with backend, frontend and full-stack engineers focused on our LCR products — internal services and interfaces that drive the business logic behind our many whitelabel storefronts, providing them with a suite of loyalty solutions.

Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering, you will join a multidisciplinary team where you will:
Develop a healthy team culture with lunches, team building activities and celebrations
Mentor and coach your team members in order to help them grow as technical contributors and leaders
Collaborate with scrum masters, product owners, analysts, and other stakeholders
Work with team members to improve their skills, build development plans, and find a way for them to grow
Share responsibility for your team’s technical health, architecture, best practices, reliability and security
Provide a clear technical vision and ensure high quality products are delivered to our partners and customers
Contribute to development tasks; writing code, pair programming, reviewing code
Qualifications
Great communication skills
Experience leading software projects or development teams
Proven experience fostering a collaborative team environment
Excellent software fundamentals, preferably with an emphasis in web development
Technologies we use and teach:
