As a Customer Service Representative at Pool Supplies Canada you will be assisting customers remotely over the phone and through email. This job requires someone who can communicate respectfully and professionally, via phone and email, to customers, co-workers and manufacturers. You will need to be able to work independently and with your team to communicate effectively and solve customer inquiries. No prior pool knowledge is required, as you will be introduced to each department, but also trained extensively in your own area.

Technical Requirements:
1. Cable, DSL or fiber internet, hard wired only. No wireless internet connections are supported (Point-to-point, satellite, 3G, 4G, 5G, LTE, etc. are all unsupported).
2. Access to the (Cogeco/Bell/Rogers/ISP) modem/router to DIRECTLY plug in a network cable of up to 75 feet. This cable from the modem/router must be able to reach where the desk phone will be used permanently. Wireless uplinks (mesh kits, “home pods”, powerline over ethernet, wireless bridges, repeaters and WiFi Extenders) are unsupported.
4. The ability to log into the admin configuration portal of your home router. We do not need the password, or persistent access, just the ability for the potential employee to log into it. The ability for IT to inspect the home network, and change the network IP addressing scheme (e.g. from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.100.1).
5. Shared internet connections (condominium internet, shared internet for tenants in rentals, public internet connections, such as a coffee shop or library) are not supported. “Double-NAT” (two routers or router behind a router) is not supported. You must have control of the internet connection in the household.
6. IT must be notified at least 24 hours in advance of a phone being relocated to another home/building/internet connection.
