Tasks

Position Objective

This position will be responsible for managing and coordinating regional market development initiatives and projects for PCL. The role will collaborate with PCNA’s and PAG’s sales, marketing, finance and business development operations. The position will also serve as an extension to Corporate Business Development’s advisory to the executive team function and will play a key role in the Project Management Office.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for further driving the roadmap, implementation and follow up for Strategy 2030 – Porsche’s corporate strategy in Canada, in collaboration with all departments.
  • Responsible for leading and acting as a key resource in the Project Management Office in the execution of cross-departmental business development initiatives, innovation, and strategic projects.
  • Support in managing and reporting on for PCL key projects on executive level, including Strategy 2030 and Project One.
  • Organize content and enable cross-departmental information exchange for management meetings, task forces, and steering committees for key stakeholders.
  • Lead preparation of materials for PCL ShareCo meetings in conjunction with the CEO and CFO, and maintain regular updates of economic, political and automotive situation in Canada.
  • Prepare and coordinate CEO content and presentations for Dealer Meetings and PCL Town Hall.
  • Act as key contact and CEO liaison for PCL strategic offsite events, including Strategic Management workshops.
  • Coordinate visits for key PAG contacts for collaboration and presentations with PCL stakeholders.

Decision Making

  • The position is required to make decisions that relate to both project-related activities, system support, and implementation plans. This will include solution details; creation of timelines; and the escalation of critical issues. All decisions related to processes that have a direct impact on business units or have a financial consequence, will be reviewed and approved by the Executive Committee.
  • Highly Autonomous: The position has full latitude and judgment in performing the job.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors’ degree in International Business, Marketing/Sales, Finance or equivalent required

Experience (Job And Industry)

  • 3+ years professional experience with a leading industrial corporation or leading consultancy, or 3+ with Master’s Degree/MBA International experience with exposure to C-suite level preferred
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry is optional
  • 1-2 years of project management experience with a track record of successfully implemented projects
  • Experience in developing fact and figure driven decision recommendations for Executive/Senior level management

  • Fluency (written and oral) in English, French or German language skills an asset
