Job Description
Overview:
The Foreman is responsible for leading, supervising and motivating a small crew of construction workers in the Trim division. He will be working from one of our residential construction sites in Ottawa.
Primary responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate employees or subcontractors
- Ensure quality and inspection of installation
- Provide project planning and project management support
- Participate in safety/incident investigations and reviews
- Help project coordinator with reviewing and updating construction schedules
- Ensure all workers receive the proper training
- Attend weekly and quarterly production meeting
Qualifications:
- Experience in supervision of employees
- Bilingual
- Positive Attitude
- Customer Oriented
- Experience in carpentry and trim
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Problem solving and troubleshooting expert.
- Capacity to work under pressure
- Professional and charismatic
- Self motivated, responsible and hardworking
