ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Salesforce Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Power Factors is looking for a experienced developer to join our team to participate in the development of our Managed Package. As a Developer, Salesforce (FSM), you will be part of a team of talented technology professionals and work on the design and implementation of the Field Service Management platform for the clean energy industry. Leveraging the Salesforce platform and all its latest technologies, you will work toward offering the best platform to manage Clean Energy assets. Your role will be to participate in the design, the implementation, and the continuous improvement of our application. In this role, you will report to the Manager, Drive Plus (FSM) and you will be working from home, in Canada.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Build customized solutions in Salesforce and associated systems that aim to support business requirements and processes

Acquire and maintain an Agile mindset axed on maximizing value delivery

Configure and ensure custom development using Apex Classes, Triggers, Aura components, Lightning Web Components, Platform Events, Process Builder, Visual Workflows, Approvals, Reports, Email Services, SOQL, SOSL

Participate in the Design, Development, and Review of the application/Managed Package

Work with rigorous methodology and deliver high-quality product

Manage all project’s full development cycle

Take part in the development team’s process improvement

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

This also means that you are effective at managing multiple tasks of varying complexities, work well under pressure, and are driven by continuous learning and growth. Specifically, we are looking for someone with the following toolbox:

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

Minimum of 4 years’ experience of Salesforce Development

In-depth knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Aura, and Lightning Web Components

Experience of Integration Using Rest, SOAP API’s or Platform Events

Experience with Salesforces business automation tools (Process Builder, VWF, Triggers, Approvals, etc.)

Experience with Managed Packages as a Salesforce ISV or OEM will be considered an asset

Web development experience with solid with great working knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, or other JavaScript frameworks

Experience with Salesforce DX is a must

Familiar with the Agile methodologies

Experience working in a SAAS business environment

Familiar with Git

SFDC Developer Certification is an asset

Working knowledge of Aws

Ability to Write, Interpret, and Critique technical specifications

Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset

Preferred skills: business acumen, continuous learning, decision making, detail oriented, conflict management, execution
