Robert Southey School offers Kindergarten to Grade 12 programming to an enrolment of approximately 283 students. There is a professional staff compliment of 17 FTE teachers including one vice-principal and 9.18 FTE support staff. Robert Southey School provides a strong academic program and supports students to become caring, competent, responsible citizens who value education and life-long learning. Southey is located 54km north of Regina.
Assignment
- 100% administrative duties
- Salary and benefits is outlined in the STF Provincial Collective Bargaining agreement. Current administrative allowance is approximately $24,802.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education Degree
- Valid Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate
- Master’s degree in a related field, or a willingness to obtain as a condition of employment
- Experience in a school administration role is considered an asset

- A drive to enthusiastically guide and empower staff, students, and community to achieve educational excellence
- Leadership in delivering high quality educational programs and services that encompass all aspects of effective schools
- Management skills to ensure safe, orderly, accountable school operations
- An understanding of the diverse needs of students and knowledge of strategies to support every student.
- Ability to align efforts at the school level to support the School Division’s strategic direction
