Customer Care Associate—TD Place

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Care Associate to join our winning team in Ottawa, working at TD Place Stadium. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and willing to adapt to changing needs. Under direction of the Site Supervisor, the Customer Care Associate is responsible for ensuring that day to day operations are carried out in a productive and efficient manner and that a high standard of customer service is maintained. The Customer Care Associate will handle customer enquiries using the onsite intercom, email and by phone. Provides status reports to and informs the Site Supervisor of any parking related issues.

Location:
1015 Bank Street, Ottawa, ON, K1S 3W7 (TD Place Stadium)

Employment:
Part-Time, shifts will vary depending on site requirements.

Hours:
Up to 30 hours per week that may include additional hours/overtime due to site events.
Employee will use company golf cart, site tools at TD Place.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Parking lot and/or event management experience is an asset;
• 1+ year in a customer service related position;
• Community College Diploma or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience (or in the process of completing);
• Strong computer skills, must have experience with Windows 7 or higher; Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
• Ability to learn new software/applications including onsite parking equipment
• Flexible to work on a rotating shift schedule (morning, afternoon, evening, weekend and/or statutory holiday shifts);
• Criminal and Credit clearance required.

Mandatory Attributes:

• Excellent customer service skills required with the ability to resolve conflict and solve problems;
• Basic knowledge of parking garages;
• Event experience is highly encouraged;
• Must be punctual and reliable;

• Communication skills—ability to read, write and speak English fluently. French is an asset;
• Ability to operate independently as well as in a team;

• Basic knowledge of Ottawa teams playing at Lansdowne is an asset;
• Able to work different shifts including nights, weekends and statutory holidays as required;
• Parking lot experience is an asset.

Job Responsibilities / Duties:

• Monitor all gate columns and pay on foot stations;
• Replenish columns and pay on foot stations with tickets as needed;
• Respond to real time customer problems;
• Printing “one-out” tickets for selective events and recording relevant information;
• Reporting of any incident that occurs at the site to the Site Supervisor (Area Manager if needed);
• Generate and submit daily occupancy reports (or other reports requested by Site Supervisor/Area Manager);
• Assisting monitoring agents with any questions or inquiries;
• Troubleshooting/repairing equipment to ensure maximum efficiency. This includes all Precise equipment on site including PGS equipment (Parking Guidance System);
• Conduct work orders for garage deficiencies of equipment/areas that are not owned by Precise (ie. deficient delineators);
• Able to work different shifts including nights, weekends and statutory holidays as required;
• Interact and assist customers and clients with various issues;
• Access Parking Control System and Parking Guidance System to troubleshoot and provide level-1 customer support;
• Monitor alarms and dispatch technicians as required;
• Complete end of shift reports using deposit bags and deposit tracking forms;
• Answer incoming calls and emails regarding parking related matters;
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
