Precise Tool & Die Limited is looking for a Quality Analyst to join our team!

We are located in Whitby, minutes from the 401 and we are a global supplier to the automotive, consumer products, and defense industries. We specialize in precision tooling, stampings, and assembled components.

This is a full-time, permanent day-shift position reporting to the General Manager.

Experience: 2 – 5 years in a Manufacturing environment in a Quality position

Education: Post Secondary Education required; Mechanical Engineer (preferred) and/or college Certificate in Quality Assurance

Qualifications:

  • Must have metal stamping experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge of Excel/Word and Microsoft Outlook

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain engineering database on Syspro MI System for all parts including bill of material, routing, master job order (work order), and packaging specifications;
  • Prepare and maintain quality plans for all parts;
  • Provide first article measurements and reports of part layout for new parts and engineering changes;
  • Preform and maintain gauge and fixture calibration and control records and facilitate calibration service program;
  • Maintain the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) system and troubleshoot out of control conditions as required;
  • Attend and support meetings to provide continuous customer involvement, contract reviews and Failure Mode & Effect Analyses (FMEA);
  • Provide production staff with support in performing part first off and last off requirements, as required;
  • Verify outside processes for conformance to specifications;
  • Audit production staff process control checks and Job Orders sheets for final release;
  • Support the new parts estimates and quotations systems, as required;
  • Participate in and contribute to effective production efficiency;
  • Other responsibilities that may be assigned, as required.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
