The Role

You will be responsible first for creating relationships, generating pipeline, and closing deals in the United States and Canada, then for building a top-performing sales team around you (complete with SDRs and AEs). You will work closely with our Managing Director, to build an effective business development and sales strategy to replicate the success we have had in Australia and New Zealand, in the North American Market.

Responsibilities

• Generate top of funnel opportunities using our sales development playbooks and elite sales stack (Zoominfo, Seamless.ai, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft & PipeDrive)
• Nurture relationships and close deals with our ideal customer
• Validate targeting and messaging in the North American market
• Recruit and develop a top-performing team of SDRs to fill top of funnel and team of AEs to close those opportunities
• Achieve monthly sales targets

We’re looking for people who…

• Are_ self-starters: _You’ll be joining a successful global team as the first boots on the ground in North America. While you’ll quickly be able to grow the team around you as you hit initial pipeline and revenue targets, in the early days you’ll spend most of your time filling up your pipeline, having meetings, and nurturing prospect relationships. Only a few hours a week will be spent on team meetings and collaborating with leadership. You’ll need to be able to hold yourself accountable and keep yourself on track.

• Are agile: Things change fast these days. In the global economy, in this market, and in sales. To excel in a sales environment, you need to respond to change quickly. Whether that be updating a call script, changing a sales deck, or targeting a new buyer person – change doesn’t hold you back.

Experience & Requirements

• You have worked in a prospecting role (either as a dedicated prospector or full cycle salesperson) for 2+ years, within the last 5 years
• You have worked in a closing role (either as a dedicated closer or full cycle salesperson) for 2+ years, within the last 5 years
• You have a demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding your sales goals
• You have a computer and a high speed internet connection

Bonus points if you…

• Have built or managed a team of prospectors or closers
• You come from a background working in or selling to the construction industry
• Have worked with Salesloft & PipeDrive
