Overview of the Position
As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you are responsible for identifying and engaging in best practices for testing systems or solutions for various company projects and applications. Your role is to improve the quality of finished products being deployed and increase our production speed with system releases and enhancements.
Key activities include:
- Regular Release cycles include conducting, facilitating, supporting testing of applications in alignment with business process
- Working environment includes SaaS platforms/applications which require concise communications with 3rd party vendors
- Ensuring that technology deployments contain no errors by analyzing development data
- Implementing test plans; developing automation tests and maintenance tasks
- Working closely with the project team and Quality Assurance (QA) Team to define, develop, and execute testing expectations and requirements including existing applications
- Participating in analysis and discussions to solve unidentified issues
- Orchestrating Quality Assurance (QA) resources and Princess Auto Team Members engaged in testing activities
- PII and PCI standards compliance as part of testing validations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant post-secondary education
- 3-5 years’ Quality Assurance experience
- Working knowledge of Automated Testing Framework
- Strong Written and Verbal skills
- Highly analytical and attention to detail
- Postman or similar API testing/performance tools experience
- Comprehension of data exchange structures and processes
- Solid understanding of PII and PCI compliance standards
- Proficient working with Microsoft Office products including Visio and SharePoint
- Knowledge of the use of JIRA/Confluence in quality assurance automation
- Fluency in French would be considered an asset
- Prior experience in a Retail organization would be considered an asset
