Our client, a leading sleepwear manufacturer is looking for a fit technician to add to their growing team!
Responsibilities
- Issue precise specs and detailed garment construction for prototype samples
- Assist in preparation of technical designs and tech packs of garments
- Prepare comments on the prototypes in a clear, descriptive and timely manner
- Communicate modifications to the overseas suppliers
- Ensure superior quality of the garments
- Maintain accurate product size and fit specifications in the finished garment
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the industry
- Experience with children sleepwear garments
- Experience with Wal-Mart
- Able to create patterns and fix them (manually or by computer)
- Excellent knowledge of garment construction and fit
- Speak and write in English.
- Strong knowledge in excel (Adobe Illustrator an asset)
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
