Employment Type: Full-time and In-Person

Experience: Minimum of 4 years

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance

Compensation: $40,000 – $50,000 annually

Job Summary:

As a Corporate Accountant, contribute to our team by preparing financial statements, invoicing clients, and handling administrative duties. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.

Work Hours:

9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a possibility of additional hours during March and April.

Responsibilities:

• Account collections related to company receivables.
• Preparing personal T1’s throughout tax season.
• Entering all bills and records related to various companies.
• Assisting in payroll and HR related issues.
• Assisting in office management services.
• Reviewing corporate bookkeeping files.
• Working with Wealth Management to facilitate company information.

Competencies:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting position.
• Experience managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Experience with accounting and tax software (CaseWare, TaxCycle, Quickbooks).
• Impeccable organizational skills.
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and practices.
• Detail-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
