Prolium Looking for Project Coordinator at Airdrie, AB Full Time

The Prolium Group is currently seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to join our team of professionals based out of Airdrie, AB. Prolium Industries Ltd is a fast-emerging Oil & Gas service company that specializes in the repairs of Above Ground Storage Tanks. Our Operations team is currently working on projects located across the country from British Columbia to Newfoundland, with Alberta being the core of our operation. Key Responsibilities

• Procurement and shipping of shop fabrication and field repair material
• Coordinate of third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Assist with managing the relationship with the client
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain project documentation
• The position may require some travel to various locations across Canada to provide oversight and audit construction work packages throughout the completion of work.

Job Requirements

• 1+ years experience in the Construction / Oil & Gas industry
• Proven working experience in projects as a Project Coordinator
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• The ability and discipline to consistently meet deadlines
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Engineering background (preferred)
• Knowledge of welding procedures (preferred)
• Knowledge of Quality Programs (an asset)
• Project Management experience (an asset)
• Valid class 5 drivers’ licence
