TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

The Talent Acquisition Specialist, reporting to the Branch Manager, will be responsible for managing multiple large accounts, be involved in all aspects of the recruiting initiatives and processes, including employment branding, and candidate relationship management. This position is based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate will be a team player, approachable, service-oriented, and driven by process and metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop recruitment strategies, actively source & screen candidates, and present qualified candidates to the hiring manager for consideration
- Conduct interviews via in-person or online platforms
- Keep candidates & hiring managers engaged throughout the hiring process by using frequent communication
- Manage and solve any customer orders, disputes, and escalations to ensure an overall positive customer experience
- Grow key accounts
- Educate customers on employment legislation and staffing related matters
- Meet weekly recruitment targets
Educational Requirements:
- Post Secondary Education
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent account management/customer service experience or
- Minimum 2 years of high-volume recruitment experience
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Fluent in English (Oral and Writing)
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Previous work using Bullhorn’s CRM-ATS or other applicant tracking systems
