Pseudio (Sherlock Clothing Ltd.) Looking for Junior System Administrator at Halifax, NS Full Time

The Head Office for Pseudio, envy+grace and Samuel & Co. is currently in search of a Junior System Administrator. Our Head Office teams are behind the scenes, powering the great customer service experiences created throughout the company. We are looking for a technical individual with excellent customer service, problem solving and interpersonal skills to provide our teams with exceptional I.T. support. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Perform the day-to-day hardware and software maintenance duties as required on any IT system and/or computer across the organization
• Troubleshoot and correct hardware/software computer and network problems and/or concerns
• Responsible for WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN, Internet maintenance, including routers, switches
• Monitor and administer Active Directory, Email, Backup, Anti-Virus, Printing and other backend systems
• Provide IT information and support to other departments as needed by using knowledge of the organization’s IT infrastructure
• Troubleshoot/resolve remote access problems for offsite users
• Provide macOS/Windows problem solving for local users
• Work is in an office environment and/or a server environment and will require long periods at a desk, reading lengthy documents, and time in front of a computer

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma in Information Technology with an emphasis in Systems Management/Networking or related field of study and/or experience in a similar role
• 3+ years of Windows and Windows Server environments
• 2+ years of routing, switching and firewalls
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite of products and Office 365
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written
• Must be flexible to changes in duties, workflow, and priorities
• Self-motivated, responsive and individual who believes in personal responsibility
• Detailed oriented
