We are seeking a Human Resources Manager on a 1 year Maternity Leave Contract basis to join our team!*

Job Duties: *

• Support management by providing expert HR advice regarding all matters pertaining to the effective selection, training, retention and development of all personnel and organizational development efforts
• Identify and fill staff vacancies; responsible for full cycle recruitment
• Work with management to establish guidelines, policies, procedures, etc. pertaining to all personnel and HR matters
• Develop and administer compensation and benefits plans; develop long and short term compensation planning
• Ensure Quarterback’s competitiveness and legal compliance on all matters surrounding HR practices
• Coach managers in the handling of difficult personnel situations and decisions
• Plan and conduct new employee training and orientation
• Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as recruiting, interviews, hires, employee personnel data, transfers, performance appraisals, disciplinary action, vacations and absenteeism rates
• Manage and administer BambooHR
• Develop Quarterback as “an employer of choice”
• Other duties as required and as requested by management

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience within Human Resources
• Experience with full cycle recruitment and employee relations
• University degree required
• CHRP preferred
• Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• BambooHR experience preferred
