Rafflebox requires a Marketing Specialist who can hit the ground running to create campaigns to help our charities and organizations raise more money for their worthy causes. The Marketing Specialist will be a key contributor to the entire marketing and customer experience for Rafflebox and our partners.
Who are you:
You know the value strong copywriting can bring and have experience creating engaging touch points for customers through your writing. You can demonstrate examples from your 5 years’ experience where you’ve forged a connection with your reader to encourage them to take an action and learn more, purchase or respond. You know how to pull a reader in, create a compelling story and do it in a concise manner that stands out in today’s busy inboxes and social media feeds.
You’re drawn to Rafflebox because you have a passion for helping non-profits thrive and believe in the power of digital fundraising. The idea of working at a start-up company that is agile and nimble is energizing to you. You work well on small teams, are self-motivated, and love to jump into every aspect of a company and contribute to the overall vision of success.
Your day:
Copywrite content for email marketing campaigns
Manage email marketing aspects of large fundraising campaigns, including client content calendars, scheduling, content, reviews and approvals
Create and build email marketing campaign lists for lead generation
Write content for Facebook ads and online campaigns
Liaise with non-profit and charity customers to understand their customer base and create content to increase their revenue generated
Brainstorm, create and pitch new content series
Design templates and layouts for emails within a customized email tool (Hubspot)
Manage large amounts of data and organize into usable, and easy to digest information
Stay up-to-date on news and industry trends in the tech and charity fundraising world

Strong analytical skills and ability to present data in a simple-to-understand style
Strong problem-solving mindset and can-do attitude
Proven capability in email marketing and content trends such as email newsletters, sequenced marketing funnels
Experience in the non-profit sector, particularly fundraising and large marketing campaigns
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver a clear call to action
Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time
Experience with email marketing software such as SendGrid/Twillio, Postmark considered an asset. Preference will be given to experience with HubSpot
Agency or e-commerce brand experience considered an asset
