Field Coordinator
Position Summary
Reporting to the Project Manager or designate, the Field Coordinator provides support and assistance to the Union Station Rail Corridor (USRC) project. Responsibilities are varied but include document control, coordinating timely delivery of supplies and materials and updating project reporting tools. This position will vary between day shift and night shift as needed.
Salary Range $60,000- $68000

Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Performs duties related to construction quality and site administration including management of project related information and documentation, and maintenance of project files;
Attend project meetings and record detailed meeting minutes;
Provide administrative support to the project team;
Review, verify & file field production reports;
Review, verify & file quality documentation;
Report daily issues to project team;
Tracking and reporting of production quantities and equipment utilization;
Coordinate material delivery to the job site, following up on discrepancies or variances;
Acts as a leader in Safety and Quality by adhering to and promoting plans, policies and procedures;
Performs other related administrative or project based duties as assigned;
50% of the work will be field work, while the other 50% will be performed out of a trailer;
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Undergraduate degree or diploma in a related field of study such as Civil Engineering, Contract Management or Project Management;
Computer skills such as Microsoft Office;
Exceptional analytical, planning, problem solving and organizational skills;
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work to deadlines;
Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a team;
Self-motivated, innovative, committed and honest;
Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills;
Attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture;
Clean driving record and ability to travel as required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Weekend or night work may be required;
Occasional exposure to outdoor construction sites in all weather conditions may be required;
Majority of the field work is on and around live track (trains);
Field work may be in urban areas. Accommodations and transportation will be provided, if required.
