In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our clients’ financial operations, ensuring that all accounts payable processes are executed flawlessly and efficiently in a vendor management position.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Receive and process invoices accurately and timely, matching them with purchase orders and verifying approvals.
• Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, or electronic transfer, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payment terms.
• Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other accounts payable-related matters.
• Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
• Month-End Close: Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Accounting Experience: 1-2 years (required)

Work on-site (fully in-person) 5 days a week

High level of enthusiasm and energy

Highly proficient in software applications including: Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
