Randstad Canada Looking for Deposit Administrator at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Deposit Administrator who is highly motivated with strong customer servicing skills. This individual will be performing duties in finance administration support with good understanding of AML/KYC compliance and ability to engage with the potential clients.

Responsibilities

As a Deposit Administrator, your responsibilities include and are not limited to ;

• Accurately process new client account openings in complying with customers account and adhering to AML/KYC compliance
• Ensure department policies and procedures are followed when servicing clients and performing account maintenance.
• Answer client questions regarding the new Client or Account opening application.
• Trouble shoot requests from CSRs in issues relating to banking system, account opening or related administration tasks.
• Administrative tasks – filing, uploading documents to portal, scanning, etc.
• Back-office functions relating to various daily GL, Return Items, Wire transfers
• Contributes willingly to supporting the team in all day-to-day assigned duties and responsibilities

Qualifications

As a Deposit Administrator, you must have ;

• Good understanding of the Canadian Payment Systems and Rules
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in administrative and/or customer service role with Financial Services experience as a plus
• Demonstrated ability to deal with clients, external and internal partners and solve problems effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to multi-task and have time management
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in Electronic Payment reconciliations using APS Application and understanding of KYC/AML compliance is a huge asset
