We are looking for a Machine Operator to join a bottling/food production plant located in Delta B.C! You will be operating machinery that produces food flavoring and syrups.
This is the perfect job opportunity for you if:
- You have experience working in manufacturing or production
- You have proven technical and mechanical skills
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shifts Available:
- Morning shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Afternoon shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Graveyard shift: 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Wage: $18.00+/hour (premiums on afternoon and night shifts)
Location: Delta, BC
Must be legally permitted to work in Canada and reside in BC
*note – transit does not run at 5 AM for this location*

Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production machines and equipment
- Ensure all necessary materials are in place on the line
- Monitoring the assembly line and removing faulty products
- Finalizing and packaging products for shipment
- Shutting down and restarting machines as required
- Problem-solving including troubleshooting machines as required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment; including wearing all required PPE
- Maintaining accurate documentation records
- Communicating with co-workers, line leads, supervisors, and maintenance
- Performing other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience working in food production or manufacturing is an asset
- Experience operating/troubleshooting manufacturing machinery
- Good technical and mechanical abilities
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic math skills
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
