Responsibilities
Receive customer orders by telephone, E.D.I., e-mail and fax.
Verify orders received by E.D.I., e-mail and fax.
Enter orders into computer to issue purchase orders with bills of lading.
Track back orders.
Respond to customer inquiries by phone, e-mail and fax regarding orders, products, pricing, availability, and delivery times.
Notify customers when special orders are ready.
Obtain credit authorizations for new customers.
Resolve shipping, delivery and receiving problems.
Other related duties.
Qualifications
Fluently bilingual (French and English).
Knowledge of Office suite.
3 to 5 years’ experience in customer service and order taking.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
An enthusiastic self-starter.
Versatile and hard working.
Customer oriented.
Good observation skills.
Willing to learn and take on responsibility.
