We have a great Shipper Receiver opportunity available at an automotive manufacturer in the Stoney Creek area that is looking for a forklift driver to start immediately! This position is long-term!
This manufacturing environment is very busy and you will be responsible for receiving and storing finished goods, raw materials and products. The shipper will pull the required picklist from the system and prepare the shipment. Also responsible for operating forklifts quickly, and safely to load and unload trucks of various sizes.
Role: Shipper/Receiver
Shift: 8 am to 5 pm – Monday to Friday (flexible to change shift as required for coverage)
Pay Rate: $20 an hour

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Operate counterbalance forklift as a Shipper/Receiver
- Enter all incoming packing slips in a timely and accurate manner.
- Confirm incoming paperwork to the actual inbound shipment to ensure accuracy
- Prepare stock for production
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventories, participate in all physical inventories, and keep warehouse and finished goods storage areas neat and orderly.
- Assist in maintaining the outside storage areas in a neat and efficient layout.
- Be aware of any anomalies in labels and be cognizant of customer requirements on all outbound shipments
- Must work in a safe and efficient manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2 years of forklift experience required
- Forklift License required (valid external)
- Strong math skills
- Previous Shipping/receiving paperwork experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Punctual, reliable, fast-paced
