Randstad Canada Looking for Vehicle Technician at London, Ontario, Canada Full Time

• Conduct repairs, modifications and retrofits on vehicles
• Provide customer with technical assistance on repair procedures
• Liaise with internal and external customers for resolution of data and technical issues
• Prepare input for various management and log reports
• Perform rework tasks and other general assembly tasks
• Maintain safe work practices
• Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues

Responsibilities

REQUIRED Qualifications:

• Truck, coach, automotive interprovincial certification or qualified Military Fire Control Systems Technician or Military Electro-Optical Repair Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician
• Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of vehicles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills
• Demonstrated strength in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working with teams and/or customers
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and ability to qualify for DZ license
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Canadian Firearms Restricted Possession and Acquisition License (PAL)

Qualifications

PREFERRED (not required) Qualifications:

• University degree, College diploma or equivalent Military Certification
• Previous repair and maintenance experience with heavy equipment/machinery
• Valid Secret Level 2 security clearance
